German for Refugees, 2016
In the last few years, Germany has received a massive influx of refugees into its population. Many in the German church have become involved in ministering to these people in need. One important ministry is that of helping non-German speakers learn the language of their adopted country.
After receiving a number of assistance inquiries from German churches to help them teach German more effectively, Wycliffe Germany created a new train-the-trainer style, German for Refugees course. This course is targeted toward German Christians who wish to teach their language to groups of refugees in their areas, and is based on many of the same techniques employed by Wycliffe personnel around the world when they're learning new languages.
